About us
Plantag Coatings GmbH, also known as Plantag or PCG, is a family-run group of companies based in Detmold, Germany. The company was founded in 1953 by Wilhelm Baumann and is now managed by Hanno Baumann, who is the third generation to run the family business.
Our specialists develop coatings for wood and wood-based materials but also for PVG, ABS and Paper foils in our own laboratories. We develop and produce at various locations (mainly in Germany) using the latest technology, without losing sight of current environmental and working conditions legislation. Our subsidiaries and branches also have color matching laboratories and act as mixing stations.
