GreCon-Spark Extinguishing System
In many different industries where bulk materials are processed, fires and dust explosions occur again and again with far reaching consequences. Interruptions of the production process that are caused this way lead to substantial follow-up costs, quite apart from personal injuries and property damage. With Spark Extinguishing Systems risks of fire can be prevented by a special technique: detection, as quick as a flash, and automatic extinguishment of the ignition energy before fire can arise.
Your benefit:
Fire and explosion risks are effectively reduced
The risk of fire-related production downtime is reduced
Risk reduction of fire-related property damage and personal injury
More attractive insurance conditions possible through risk reduction

Spark Extinguishing System - The GreCon spark extinguishing system detects and eliminates ignition initials BEFORE a fire or dust explosion occurs. Infrared detectors monitor conveying paths and, if necessary, trigger e.g. a high-speed water extinguishing within a few milliseconds. This process runs in the background without interrupting production.
GreCon DELAMINATIONCONTROL T
Inline early splitter detection with ultrasonic technology
The ultrasonic measuring system GreCon DELAMINATIONCONTROL detects inhomogeneities in panel-shaped materials, such as wood based panels, inline. Size and location of defective areas are recorded and visualised. Thus, defective panels can be identified and sorted out in time.
Depending on the quality requirements, different defect types can be configured to enable multi-stage quality sorting.
Advantages at a glance:
Early detection and localisation of hidden errors
Recognising performance reserves through process trending
High availability and operational reliability of the system
Avoidance of delamination through early detection in the DC trend
Higher productivity by increasing the production speed
High reliability of the measured values, as disruptive environmental influences are eliminated by automatic adjustment and integrated contamination control of the monitoring channels
GreCon THICKNESSCONTROL RT
High-precision thickness measuring
The contact-type inline thickness measurement GreCon THICKNESSCONTROL RT measures the thickness of panel materials as e.g. MDF, OSB or chipboards. The smallest plate gaps are sufficient to carry out the automatic calibration. Precise measured values are thus guaranteed at all times.
Benefits at a glance:
Reduction of production costs by decrease of the sanding allowance
Continuous quality control and early detection of product deviations
Measurement in high speed production possible due to fast and automatic calibration in smallest panel gaps
High accuracy due to stable frame, high sensor resolution and optimized layout reducing physical influences.
Provision of measured values for closed control loop (e.g. press control)
Provision of automatic raw density determination by integration of weight from board scale
Intelligent and comprehensive data collection for self-diagnostics, predictive maintenance and fast remote support
Intuitive and user-friendly operation by modular software that includes a clear user interface, a comprehensive database, an easy recipe management, a configurable reporting tool and export functions
Provision of communication protocols (OPC, ODBC, gateway, digital I/O, OEM interfaces
GreCon STENOGRAPH
The development of the raw density profile is visualised in real time. Thus, the machine operator quickly receives reliable information that he can use for an optimum adjustment of the production process when, for example, starting up the line or changing the product. If irregularities occur, he can immediately take counter-measures. Production faults are detected and can be rectified in time.
A permanent monitoring and control of the raw density profile is part of the important parameters for a cost-optimised manufacture of wood based panels as the product properties of the wood based panels are decisively influenced by specific changes of the raw density profile.
Since the Stenograph does not need a cooling time - also not in continuous measuring operation - inconvenient "blind flights" do not occur during the otherwise usual switch-off phase.
Advantages at a glance:
Continuous inline monitoring of the density profile
Reduction of material consumption (wood and glue) by optimising the raw density profile
Reduction of run-in times (start-ups and product changes)
Production optimisation
Measurement of weight per unit area
Import of laboratory measurements for reconciliation
Connection to customer control via OPC
GreCon MATCONTROL HF
MATCONTROL HF is able to detect the exact size and position of foreign objects down to the millimetre range.
Both metallic and non-metallic substances that are outside the density tolerance of the material strand are detected. Classic examples of this can be found in the insulation industry, where hot spots cause enormous production damage due to their delayed heat release. Missing material, on the other hand, not only reduces quality, but is also responsible for expensive returns and a loss of reputation that can hardly be measured in terms of price.
Another example can be found in the wood-based materials industry, where foreign object detection helps to protect expensive steel strips by setting the correct threshold values.
Your advantages:
MATCONTROL HF identifies a wide range of foreign objects and anomalies, including glue lumps, hot spots, wet spots and metallic and non-metallic elements such as nails, staples or stones.
Detects areas that are too light or missing material, indicating voids or material omissions.
Utilises eight individually adjustable threshold values for detection, allowing flexible adaptation to different production requirements.
Direct integration of protective measures into the system control by assigning threshold violations to specific digital outputs.
Possibility of colour-coding detected fault locations, which facilitates troubleshooting.
Saves threshold violations in a database and enables detailed tracking and analysis of production faults.
