LEUCO recognized the advantages of the owl wing structure and implemented this concept in the design of the new generation of jointing cutters. Thanks to the intensive research and development of experienced engineers, the so-called "LEUCO airFace" surface on the entire tool body of the jointing cutter could be developed. The principal effect of the gullet with the "owl wing edge" is to canalize the air at this point. LEUCO airFace is applied for patent.
